Issa Rae Signs Production Pact With Columbia Pictures To Promote Diverse Writers

Black Girl Magic! Issa Rae is out here making huge moves and making sure people of color are getting their foot in the door as well. According to sources to the Hollywoodreporter, Issa Rae’s #ColorCreative has signed a multi-year production pact with #ColumbiaPictures to promote and encourage diverse writers.

The deal will run as mentorship program and studio diversity initiative where those selected will have the chance to work with Issa are and the studio to write features based on their original ideas.

Those selected will be announced in the spring of 2019!
