Rapper Juelz Santana turned himself in to authorities, March 12th, on gun and drug charges. It has been reported that he will remain in holding until at least March 20th, while authorities figure out who’s jurisdiction will prosecute the case.
Santana’s charges came from a incident in Newark International Airport in Newark, N.J. Officials say the rapper had a loaded .38 caliber handgun in his carry-on bag, along with 8 oxycodone pills. Santana fled the scene and took a cab from the airport. Officials believed the cab was taking him to his home in Totowa, N.J. but Santana was nowhere to be found until he later turned himself in.
