Big night last night for Actress Regina King as she walked home with a #GoldenGlobe for supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for the new Barry Jenkins film “If Beale Street Could Talk”
During her platform she used that time to make a vow and she encouraged many others to follow her lead.
According to sources over at #Variety she said “ The reason why we do this is because we understand that our microphones are big and we are speaking for everyone. And I just want to say that im going to use my platform right now to say in the next two years, everything that I produce, im making a vow, and its going to be touch, to make sure that everything that I produce that its %50 women.
