Domino’s is giving pizza lovers a new way to enjoy a classic regional favorite with the launch of its new Detroit-style Personal Pan Pizza.
The new menu option brings the signature qualities of Detroit-style pizza into an individual-sized serving, offering customers a thicker crust with crispy, caramelized edges and plenty of cheese.
Detroit-style pizza is known for its rectangular shape, airy crust and cheese that stretches all the way to the edges of the pan, creating a crispy finish when baked. Domino’s is putting its own spin on the popular style while offering it in a smaller size designed for one person.
The addition gives customers another choice alongside Domino’s existing pizza lineup, which includes its Handmade Pan, New York Style and other crust options. Domino’s continues to promote its Handmade Pan pizza and other crust choices across its current menu.
The launch comes as major pizza chains continue experimenting with different crusts, flavors and portion sizes to give customers more variety.
For fans of thick, crispy pizza who don’t necessarily want to order a full-size pie, Domino’s new personal-sized option could offer the best of both worlds — Detroit-inspired flavor in a portion made for one.
