Rihanna makes Forbes’ billionaires list debut


Forbes‘ annual list of worldwide billionaires is chock full of celebrities this year, including Kim KardashianYe and Rihanna.

The American business magazine released its annual report on billionaires around the world Tuesday, which included some returning billionaires and entrepreneurs who made the cut for the first time.

Rihanna, 34, is among the freshman class of billionaires, becoming the first billionaire of her home country of Barbados, according to Forbes. Declared the world’s richest female musician, the pop star has leveraged her Fenty Beauty cosmetics line and her Savage X Fenty lingerie business to a net worth of $1.7 billion, the magazine says.

She ranked #1,729 on this year’s list.
