Fireworks can also be viewed for free from Romare Bearden Park.
Carowinds Celebrate America
Date: July 4
Location: Carowinds Amusement Park
Time: Fireworks at dusk
Details: Full day of rides and entertainment, ending with a patriotic fireworks show. Park admission required.
U.S. National Whitewater Center Celebration
Dates: July 3–4
Location: U.S. National Whitewater Center
Details: Two days of live music, outdoor activities, and fireworks. Free admission; $12 parking.

Charlotte Symphony: Celebrate America

Location: Symphony Park at SouthPark

Details: Patriotic concert followed by fireworks. Tickets range from $5–$25; children under 12 free.
