CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Queen City is getting ready to become the center of the Major League Soccer world as MLS All-Star Week brings a full lineup of soccer, music and fan experiences to Charlotte.
The festivities begin with the All-Star Soccer Celebration at Romare Bearden Park, giving fans an opportunity to take part in the excitement surrounding one of the league’s biggest annual events. The celebration will feature interactive soccer activities, player meet-and-greets and entertainment designed for fans of all ages.
Music will also play a major role in the festivities, with Natasha Bedingfield among the performers scheduled to take the stage. The event offers Charlotte-area families and soccer supporters a chance to experience the atmosphere of MLS All-Star Week outside of the main match itself.
The celebration adds another major soccer event to Charlotte’s growing sports résumé and gives local fans a chance to connect with MLS players and the league through activities happening throughout the week.
With soccer continuing to build momentum across the Carolinas, MLS All-Star Week is expected to bring fans together from across the region for several days of competition, entertainment and community events in Uptown Charlotte.
