CHARLOTTE, NC — Six Flags is giving families a new way to pay for trips to its amusement parks, launching a financing option that allows eligible guests to purchase season passes now and spread the cost across monthly payments.
The company has introduced Flex Pay by Upgrade, a payment option available for qualifying online purchases of $49 or more. Instead of paying the entire purchase price upfront, approved customers can make fixed installment payments over time.
The new option can be used for season passes and other eligible Six Flags products.
Use Your Pass While You’re Still Paying
One of the biggest features of Flex Pay is that approved customers don’t have to wait until their balance is completely paid before enjoying their season pass.
Once an eligible pass is activated, guests can begin using its benefits while continuing to make their scheduled payments.
Customers using Flex Pay may also be able to lock in the current price of a season pass when making their purchase, potentially making it easier for families to plan future visits and entertainment expenses.
Who Qualifies for Flex Pay?
Flex Pay isn’t automatically available to everyone.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and complete an application during the online checkout process. Approval and financing terms are determined by Upgrade’s lending partners using credit information and other eligibility factors.
Depending on the applicant and financing offer, a down payment may be required. Six Flags says available annual percentage rates can range from 0% to 36%, so customers should review their individual financing terms before completing a purchase.
Customers can also make additional payments or pay off the remaining balance early without a prepayment penalty.
Available at Six Flags Parks Across the U.S.
Six Flags says Flex Pay is available in every U.S. state where the company currently operates a park, although availability does not extend to all U.S. territories.
The program could be especially useful for families purchasing multiple season passes at once, allowing them to divide a larger upfront entertainment expense into scheduled payments.
For guests planning visits throughout the year, Six Flags says the program is designed to provide another way to secure passes in advance while immediately gaining access to eligible benefits.
Flex Pay is now available as a payment option during checkout for qualifying purchases on the Six Flags website.
